One of the most precious jewels in the world, includes the 127.01 carat Portuguese diamond, which G.I.A. has determined to have M color, VS1 clarity and Very Strong blue fluorescence. This spectacular diamond also appears hazy or oily under sunlight, an interesting characteristic that is being actively studied at GIA. When the diamond is directly exposed to strong UV light, it lights up even more!
Surrounding it are two diamond necklaces, the first one featuring the 67.89 carat pear-shaped Victoria-Transvaal diamond; the outer necklace is the Napoleon Diamond necklace, which contains roughly 260 carats of diamonds.
